Chicken Noodle Soup with Homemade Egg Noodles

Whether you’re cooped up on a dreary, rainy day or you have someone with the sniffles or a sore throat in the house, nothing soothes, warms and comforts better than homemade chicken noodle soup.  This is homemade on every level … from the noodles to the broth.  Your loved ones will be able to taste the love that goes into this!  It’s Comfort Food 101.

Then, follow this link to make Homemade Egg Noodles.

Use shredded chicken from stock-making process.  In large soup pot, simmer stock, chicken, 1 thinly sliced carrot and 1 thinly sliced celery stalk.  Add egg noodles to simmering broth and cook on low for 30 – 40 minutes or until noodles are tender. 

Serve with a sprinkling of black pepper.
